Juventus vice president Pavel Nedved spoke to DAZN in a new interview, discussing the current project amid disappointment on the field. Nedved discussed the situation at the club: "Pirlo is and will be the coach of Juventus, 100%. We went for a project with Andrea, knowing the difficulty that could arise. We wanted to do better but we haven't succeeded, that was prepared for. We are very calm, on the path we want to be on and stay on. He has everything to become a great coach."
Ronaldo for me is untouchable, he has a contract until 30 June 2022 and he will remain. What happens after we'll see. Both from a technical and image level, he has given us a charge towards the summit of football. On a technical level there's nothing to be said: he has scored more than 100 goals in 120 matches, and he's lifted us in the Champions League. He is a very simple person, even though from the outside it may not appear that way. He is the prototype of the modern footballer with immense talent and with a lot of work he has reached incredible heights."
Maurizio Sarri is a great professional and a great coach. There are good feelings, there were not the conditions to continue working together. Everything was done mutually. I liked what Allegri said. He lived through some wonderful years with us, we shared joy, he made a mark on Juve's history. I think our separation happened in a natural way and so there's no regret."
Conte and Marotta? There's a rivalry there and there should always be one, in friendship. I have no message for Antonio. Conte was brought to Inter to win and he knows how to do that. Now they're 10 points ahead and they must see out victory, he knows that too. Is he building something like he did at Juve? Possibly, also becuase he's with Beppe Marotta and I know how the two work together. So I am very happy for them. Marotta for all of us was a great master. We are happy for them."
