Roma are working for their future, despite their season in Italy and Europe is still to be written. Today Trigoria has seen the arrival of Giuseppe Riso, agent of Cristante and Mancini. The agent has arrived in the morning to meet with the midfielder after his last injury has forced him to leave the Italian National team.
After some talks between the two, Giuseppe Riso has met with Roma's general director Tiago Pinto to discuss the future of the players. The midfielder is one of Fonseca's key players, thanks to a new role and to the captain arm-band, worn in ten matches by the player. This importance could led to a renewal and a contractual adjustment for the midfielder: Pinto and Riso will meet again in the following weeks, but both are willing to extend Cristante's contract beyond 2024.
The two have also talked about Mancini's renewal: the defender is currently with the Italian National team and he's one of the main players that Roma want to hold on tight. His contract expires in 2024 too, and after Ibanez and Karsdorp renewal Roma is seeking to continue this path of renewal with the Italian defender. There will be to understand the request from the player: Mancini is untouchable for Roma's present and future, both the club's management and the agent know that this importance has to be translated into a cost.
