The first home match of the season at the San Paolo was particularly emotional for Carlo Ancelotti since he also got to face his former team Milan. Napoli’s manager spoke to Sky Sport about the comeback win:”We had a strong reaction and the team showed they believe until the end. It was a nice satisfaction, Milan is a good team, they play well, they struggled maybe to control in the second half. We had already played a match and this was an advantage. It was however a beautiful match”
Ancelotti was asked about the gap with Juventus:”It’s very early to say. But this match gave many positive signals: we need to be more alert, sometime you can’t come back in matches like these. We did so thanks to the will of the player and the enthusiasm of the fans. It was a nice emotion, at the end of the first half I told the team to stay clam but that we had to improve somethings”
