Napoli, meeting with Icardi’s representatives over: the update

| News | Autore: David Amoyal

Mauro Icardi is the name for Napoli to be the replacement Gonzalo Higuain. The 1993-born Argentine currently with Inter, was the subject of meeting just finished between Napoli's president De Laurentiis and sporting director Giuntoli, and the player's representatives. According to a report by Manuele Baiocchini of Sky Sport, Napoli has submitted an increased offer of 45 million euros plus 2 in bonus: and the offer to Icardi has increased as well, to 6.5 million euro net of taxes per year plus 3 million for the image rights (which would be 100% in control of the player, although De Laurentiis would like to keep 50%); on this point the sides are continuing to speak.

Inter's position remains that Icardi is not for sale: for the nerazzurri 45 million euros would not be enough to let him go. In the meantime Wanda Nara is announcing shortly the outcome of the meeting. Icardi seems tempted by the proposal, also becuase Inter does not intend to again renew a contract signed last season. And even more, De Laurentiis could offer a personalized brand to the player, while Wanda Nara should be given a part in the president's film "Natale a Londra" ("Christmas in London"). More news should be coming out shortly on Icardi's potential move to Napoli.
