After the arrivals of Pjanic, Dani Alves, Benatia, Pjaca and Higuain, Juventus are now looking for another midfielder. Nemanja Matic and Axel Witsel are two of Juve's top targets. For Matic, Juventus are waiting for him to meet with Chelsea. Matic should be meeting the blues in the coming days as he is pushing to leave the club. The problem is that Antonio Conte really likes him and does not intend to let him leave. Matic would be Juve's top target for the midfield.
As for Witsel, according to what Zenit are saying, Juve never made an official offer for the Belgian international. There have been contacts with a club intermediary as Juve offered 15 million euros. Everton had offered 30 million for the player and at Juve's conditions, Zenit would not accept such an offer. Witsel's contract is expiring soon and the player prefers Juve over Everton which is something that should play in the bianconeri's favor.
