Napoli are looking to initiate their transfer window with a deal to bring Tomas Vaclik, '89-born keeper from the Czech Republic, who is on an expiring deal with Sevilla.
The goalkeeper has reached preagreement with Napoli, now it's up to the partenopei to decide whether to move ahead in the coming days or to let the deal pass by.
Napoli could decide to leave Vaclik under contract should Ospina leave and make him Meret's backup, or even sign him and send him out on loan.
One player sure to remain at Napoli is Adam Ounas. Spalletti has vetoed the sale of the 1996-born winger, facing interest from Torino and Monza.
Ounas, who spent the last six months last season on loan at Crotone, is a player Spalletti likes, considering him an important player especially as a sub. At the moment all talks for the sale of Ounas are off the table.
On his way out of Napoli on the other hand is Mario Rui: there are ongoing talks with Galatasary, with new contacts slated between the sides.
