An agreement has been reached, a signature has arrived and an official announcement is probably slated for Monday, when Aurelio De Laurentiis returns from China. The deal was finalized this morning in a meeting between Elseid Hysaj, his agent Mario Giuffredi and Napoli management, specifically the directors Giuntoli and Chiavelli. The Albanian defender has signed a new contract with De Laurentiis' club: 5 years plus an option for 1 more, with a salary of 1.4 million euros annually - Hysaj left his contract of 650 thousand euros - which was to rise to a total of 2.5 million in the 6th year (he earned 500 thousand for 4 years). Within his new contract, there is a release clause set at 50 million euros, which is valid only for foreign clubs.
