Napoli continue their pursuit of Moroccan midfielder Sofyan Amrabat. The club and the player have held new contacts and, in the next few hours, the 23-year-old will inform Napoli of his wage demands. The player's agent has arrived in Italy on Friday, while De Laurentiis's club will consider whether to close the deal or not.
Napoli are also interested in another Hellas Verona player: centre-back Amir Rrahmani. At the moment, the negotiations for the Kosovan defender are not bound to the ones the partenopei are holding for Amrabat, as Napoli have shown themselves open to offer a total sum of €30 million to Verona - €15 million for each player. Napoli have already reached an agreement with Rrahmani, however they could decide to bind the two deals together, making Rrahmani acquisition subject to the agreement with Amrabat. This option, however, seems rather unlikely.
Inter have also set their sights on the Moroccan midfielder and they are pushing to bring him to San Siro from June 2020, whilst Napoli would be ready to close both deals in the upcoming January transfer window.
