The only thing missing to seal the deal between Napoli and Leandrinho is an official statement. The now Ex-Ponte Preta player has completed his medical checkups, and is now spending the holidays in Brazil. This return to his homeland allowed him to complete some final practicalities before being able to return to Italy. Because the medical checkups had been done in his first visit to Italy in mid December, the last step to complete is that of his contract. Leandrinho is expected to return to Naples in the first days of January with all necessary paperwork done. Once that happens, his purchase will be official.
