After the home draw against Torino this evening Carlo Ancelotti was visibly disappointed. For the second consecutive match Napoli failed to score, a fact that Napoli’s coach brought up in the post game interview with Sky Sport:”We weren’t able to score just like in Florence. There’s meanness and determination but with eighteen scoring chances in two matches you can’t not score. We can’t accept this and we must improve in these situations. The team plays well but it can’t finalize and that is our fault. This isn’t just about strikers but rather everyone”
Ancelotti went on:”We aren’t in no man’s land. We are in good shape in the standings, the team showed its determination despite the result. We don’t need to convince the president about the new stadium. The problem with stadiums is a general one, not ours. In home matches we are the team that has the most points, the problem wasn’t scoring last two games”.
