Napoli, Ancelotti: "There's been a lot of criticism, but you don't always get champagne football"

Carlo Ancelotti spoke to the press ahead of Napoli and Genk's fixture in the Champions League, and appeared stoic, not worried after a tough weekend match against Brescia. "Nobody knows my state of mind, maybe only the players do, but it's not very discernable. The group knows I'm not angry, like it has been written. Napoli must do what it knows well, at the best it can. I know my players' qualities, I am rarely fully satisfied because I know what they can give. But after Brescia I wasn't angry: sure, a little critical, but not overly so. There was a lot of discussion around the end, there needs to be some criticism, but not too much. I watch 1000 matches, I don't see champagne football in every one, everybody has struggles. When I see Napoli struggle I am more calm. Genk is a team that plays a positive style, I watched them do it against Salzburg and again they will do it tomorrow night."

Former Genk player Kalidou Koulibaly also gave his thoughts at the press conference: "It's an important match for me, like all Champions League matches are, it's no different. We want to win, we know that Genk lost their first match but tomorrow evening will be tough. I am happy to be back here, I spent two fantastic years here, at a great club."
