Juventus has gotten off to a strong start to the season, having only lost two points in Serie A so far and coming off of a Champions League victory over Bayer Leverkusen. Now, they will face Inter in a top of the table showdown, and Leonardo Bonucci had this to say to Sky Sport ahead of the match: "It's difficult to say who the favorite is. There will be a great Juventus in Milan, we'll go there to win, we'll try to have a great performance. Inter has began very strong with Antonio Conte on the bench, I expected this. Their defense is very strong and together they are doing well. They had a beautiful game against Barcelona: you saw the Inter of Conte, but then the individual quality of Barcelona came out."
Bonucci played for Conte with Juventus from 2011 to 2014, and also was coached by him on the Italian national team: "He transmits his hunger for victory to the team. He was perfect for Juventus, to become great again after Calciopoli."
The defender then spoke about the change in current managers from Allegri to Maurizio Sarri: "Now what is asked of the defenders is totally different, we defend a zone and spaces rather than individual people. We are growing and with work we'll get better. De Ligt? He has everything to become the best defender in the world, but we must not put too much on his shoulders. He likes to play with the ball and he comes from the Dutch school. He is different than me in that he is stronger and nastier in one on ones."
