Before there were more mature footballers, more ready for life and they were less protected. Today those around them give them too much affection and make too many excuses”
Mourinho also gave individual assessments to four of his current players:”Martial needs to show his maturity more often. Shaw has great potential but doesn’t know how to behave. Lingard and Rashford are young with great potential but at the end you see they are lacking a lot to acquire the character and personality needed to be a footballer of a high caliber”
