Luciano Spalletti has a lot to be happy about after his Inter team defeated Frosinone by a final score of 3-0 at San Siro, with Keita scoring twice and Lautaro finding the net, as well. Inter gained three points with the victory and now sit in second place, with Napoli and Chievo playing tomorrow. The nerazzurri manager spoke to Sky Sport after the match.
"We had an important reaction. I saw a lively team that played good football. We were patient with the ball at our feet, forcing our opponent to climb with the five midfielders."
Spalletti then spoke on Keita, who bagged his first goal after 10' before providing the assist to Lautaro's goal: "What interests me the most is that he was always involved in the game. He must always be in the condition to give the team a hand. On occasions he makes the play, which is in his DNA. However, he's had moments of pause and recovery, so he's lost some contact with the team in both the offensive and defensive phases."
On Lautaro: "I liked how he played with the ball and how he physically dueled in the match. He didn't give up even a centimeter and played hard through his last drop of sweat."
On the upcoming match against Tottenham, who just handed Sarri his first defeat with Chelsea: "I played players that could give a hand during time of recovery. Joao Mario showed that he's completely recovered, Nainggolan played an hour without pain to his ankle. But we come out of difficulty only as a team, not as individual players. We come out only if we're Inter through the end. We must aim on the collective and the team's victory. Individual votes don't interest us. In the past we lost time, you only regain it by fighting as a team."
