The Wyscout conference is always a great opportunity for agents and sporting directors to network. This year’s edition in Amsterdam is no different, the technical director for the Los Angeles Galaxy,Jovan Kirovski, attended and was interviewed by our editor in chief Gianluca Di Marzio, not surprisingly Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s future came up: “Ibrahimovic is a fantastic player both for us and the football movement in MLS. He’s the best player to arrive in the American league, he’s a killer. He always wants to win and score. He currently doesn’t have an expiring contract, he still has one year on his deal. We want him to be happy within our team and we are working on keeping him on the Galaxy, he’s a special player, unique for us”
Ibrahimovic has already made a big impact since arriving in MLS: “Scoring so many goals and providing so many assists after the injury he had at Manchester United is incredible. I saw many great players but no one quite like him”
