The signature of the preliminary agreement for the sale of the club to Chinese investors has re energized Milan's efforts on the transfer market. The Rossoneri are looking to close some deals on loans with obligation to buy so they can pay for the players once the sale of the club has been completed. After Gustavo Gomez' arrival became official, the hottest names are Jorge Sosa and Cuadrado, but landing both players is impossible since neither has an EU passport. But there are certainly alternatives including Adnan Januzaj who is on his way out at Manchester United after a season on loan at Borussia Dortmund. Januzaj would be less expensive than Cuadrado (valued at around €25 million) and is a profile appreciated by coach Montella.
An altenative for the midfield is Milan Badelj, another player requested by the rossoneri's new coach. An inquiry was made to the agent since the midfirlder has yet to extend with Fiorentina leaving the door open to a potential move. For the defense there could be a departure first, Massimo Allegri wants to bring Mattia De Sciglio to Juventus since Lichtsteiner has an expiring contract, Milan has asked for €25 million for their young fullback. The Rossoneri are also monitoring Martin Caceres' situation, but Fiorentina is also strongly imterested in the former Juventus defender who is available on a free transfer after his contraxt expired. Milan is looking to be active in the last few weeks of the transfer window.
