After extending Stefano Pioli's contract, Milan are now focusing on the future of some of their best performers so far this season, starting from Zlatan Ibrahimovic. The Rossoneri have made clear that they will do everything they can to try and keep the striker. Ibrahimovic, however is a bit disappointed with the club since he believed that the parties already had a contract ready to be signed by the Swede. The club is hopeful to untangle the matter shortly, in order to keep Ibrahimovic at the club.
Milan's director Paolo Maldini held a meeting today to discuss the future of another striker: Ante Rebic. Maldini and the Croat's manager Fali Ramadani met to discuss the player's future, who could move to the Rossonerion a permanent basis before the end of the current loan in June 2021 for €25 million. The meeting between the parties went well and Milan could decide to buy the player, should the figures of the deal be deemed sustainable.
Finally, the Rossoneri's directors are poised to open talks with Mino Raiola over Gigio Donnarumma's contract extension. The goalkeeper's contract will expire at the end of next season and, despite the impossibility to meet in person due to the packed schedule, the contacts between parties are ongoing.
