Milan achieved victory against Empoli as they continue to chase Juventus who currently sit atop of Serie A. However, the match against Empoli has left Milan with two injuries. The rossoneri – currently tied in second place with Roma – will have to do without Giacomo Bonaventura and Mati Fernandez.
The evaluations which took place today revealed muscle strains which will require further testing next week. This has been made official by Milan’s website: “AC Milan announces that Giacomo Bonaventura has suffered a first-degree strain to his left hamstring, while Mati Fernandez has suffered a first-degree strain to his right abductor. Both players will undergo further exhaminations in 7 days time.”
