Milan have been busy this summer between making additions to Pioli's squad and retaining their current top players.
With Frank Kessie's contract set to expire in 2022, the rossoneri have made agreeing to a new deal with the midfielder a priority- they want to make him a building block and avoid the possibility of losing him on a Bosman like Donnarumma and Calhanoglu.
Milan is trying to address the matter quickly and have scheduled their first meeting with Kessie's agent George Atangana for the next few days to discuss the extension.
