After the announcements from a month ago, in which the Milan interest was confirmed, Ralf Rangnick has returned to speak on the contacts had with Milan that have been interrupted due to the coronavirus. Below are his words when speaking with Mittledeutsche Zeitung.
"There was interest on Milan's part, but with the Coronavirus emergency there were more important things to think about rather than if I'm the right man for them or not. My role? It'll depend on the club's requests, but I am not very interested in the financial part. For me, it's important to have a certain influence in the selections and that has nothing to do with power, even if at times you need to bring forward certain ideas."
It's been confirmed that Milan and Rangnick have spoken in the past months and time will tell if the two parties reach an agreement once things return to normal.
