The struggles of the Rossoneri continued despite the coaching change, with Pioli unable to get the very sought-after win in his first two games at Milan. The Rossoneri will try and get the three points on Thursday against SPAL in the 10th round of Serie A games.

Pioli was then asked about some of the players that are performing below the expected standard like Suso and Piatek: "Suso? He is a great player with great qualities, I have no doubt about that. I think it's wrong to give all the blame to a single player. I have to work to improve Milan as a team, not just the single players, but the whole squad. Piatek? he is the striker of this team, with his specific characteristics. When he is in shape, he is a significant player. Injuries? Everyon is available for tomorrow, with the exceptions of Caldara and Rodriguez. Bennacer could be an option, while Paquetà is working hard, he is showing desire but he has to start leaving his mark on matches. But we all have to show something more, we are better than this.", concluded Pioli.
