The conversations between Milan and Uruguayan club Nacional over full-back Matias Vina have entered a decisive stage. The Rossoneri are in fact waiting for a response from the Montevideo-based club's president to their offer in the next few hours. Should Nacional accept the Rossoneri bid - of a loan with €1.5 million loan fee and an obligation to buy set at 6.5 million that would be triggered when certain conditions are met - the player will be given the green light to travel to Italy and undergo a medical for the Italian club.
Milan have made a better bid than the ones presented by the player's other suitors, so they are confident they can get a replacement for departing Ricardo Rodriguez in the next few hours. Should the Vina deal - which is considered a priority at the moment - collapse, Milan are evaluating other alternatives such as Wigan's left-back Robinson and Torino's Laxalt.
