Milan are focused on extending the contracts of three players' whose deals are set to expire at end of the season. The situations surrounding Kessie', Romagnoli and Kjaer are however all different.
The most difficult situation involves Frank Kessie'. Milan have made a significant offer to the Ivorian midfielder, but the player's demands are deemed to be high by the rossoneri. Unless Kessie' takes a step to move closer to Milan's offer, the paths of the player and the club will end following this season.
The situation is different with Romagnoli, since the club has just started talks with their captain. Milan would like to hold on to the former Lazio center back, but at the moment, it's hard to predict likelihood of the deal until the parties' demands and offer become more clear.
There is less urgency with Kjaer since both the player and the club want to extend the contract. The Danish center back is a priority for Milan also because of his character, of the three situations, this is the one less likely to give the rossoneri a negative surprise.
