After Bonucci’s agent met with Juventus earlier today, Milan and the bianconeri also got together to further discuss the negotiation involving Bonucci-Higuain-Caldara: at the moment both clubs are sticking to their respective positions. Juventus want to swap Higuain for Bonucci since they aren’t convinced by idea of sending Caldara to Milan for their former center back. The new development is that Chelsea have also joined the race for Caldara.
Chelsea have become a factor in the negotiation also because they don’t Intend to take concrete steps for Higuain until they sell Morata, a player Milan are interested in. Higuain will leave Buenos Aires this evening as he has to respond to Juventus’ selection: he’ll practice in Turin for the time being seince no concrete offer has yet to be presented for him from Chelsea or Milan. As an alternative to Higuain, Milan are also considering Falcao although it appears that Monaco have rejected Leonardo’s first offer.
