Inter has been very active on the transfer market, both with incoming and outgoing players. Their most pressing need at the moment is that of a full-back. The two names that bring the most interest to the nerazzurri are Sime Vrsaljko of Atletico Madrid and Matteo Darmian of Manchester United. In fact, the players' agents are working to have their respective clubs accept Inter's conditions for a transfer: which would be a paid loan with an option to purchase. The preference remains Vrsaljko, with Zappacosta a less likely target, but at the moment Darmian is the one that could arrive with the formula proposed by Inter because their is an option for him to prolong his stay with Manchester United until 2020.
Moving onto the midfield, the first objective for Inter is to sell Joao Mario. At this time they are not accepting the proposals from Real Betis, Sporting Club or West Ham, which are all for loan deals. They would like a permanent transfer of the player (loan with an obligation to purchase) or the player will remain in Milan. The asking price is 30 million.
The nerazzurri are still keeping an eye out for a new midfield signing as well if the conditions are there and they have had conversations with Felicevich for Arturo Vidal. The Chilean player was proposed to Inter and he would be ok with moving there, but they are not his only option.
The news of a meeting in Frankfurt with Bayern Munich over the last few days cannot be confirmed. Ausilio and Gardini simply had a stopover in the city on their journey to Nanjing, China.
