This afternoon, a contract agreement was reached with Christain Brocchi, the new coach to replace Sinisa Mihajlovic on Milan's bench. Until moments ago, Brocchi's agent Davide Lippi was at Milanello talking with Adriano Galliani agreeing on wages as well as contract length. Two voices from the Milan camp, with two different approaches, Silvio Berlusconi prefers an immediate severing of ties with Mihajlovic and a contract for Brocchi with the first team for the final two months of the season plus one year. Adriano Galliani meanwhile wanted to wait out with Mihajlovic and eventually land with a more experienced coach. Last night the two dined at Arcore, where the decision was made to sign Brocchi to the two month contract and then make an evaluation on extending him until next season. The official news then broke this afternoon for Christian Brocchi, now officially in charge of Milan until season's end.
