Francesco Totti has a possible suitor in the United States. The potential for a move away from Italy is emerging for the Roma striker, who wishes to continue his playing career, should Roma decide not to extend his contract. As reported by Fabio Russomando, Totti appears to have already spoken with Giovanni Savarese, coach of the NASL's Cosmos. With fewer legal and logistical complications than a move to MLS would entail, the NASL as a destination is intriguing to Totti. It appears that fees have also been in discussion, with a request from Totti for a salary amassing 500,000 for 4 months. With an allotted budget of 300,000, the Cosmos would have to consider whether to go above that number to invest in Totti. With just a few weeks remaining in the Serie A season, Totti's Italian career could be coming to a close just as his American one is set to begin.
