Following the draw against Roma at the Olimpico last Sunday, Milan are getting ready to host Cagliari at San Siro tomorrow. Manager Rino Gattuso discussed his team’s current form in the pre match press conference:”For sure our players needed some rest, sometimes it’s even more important to have that than a break. When we face those teams that have played less games than us we tend to struggle. The game against Cagliari won’t be easy. We have to play better technically, we have the strength to play in that matter. We are determined and have to think less as to implement our strength better. We played against a great team, it’s normal to struggle against Roma, but I wa impressed with the performance”
Gattuso was asked about his job status at the club:”I’m satisfied with what I earn and I thank the management, I have to just focus on my job with professionalism but this is not the time to talk about my salary”
Gattuso was asked about some his individual players:”Calhanoglu? I won’t speak badly about my players. He knows he can do much more even technically and he is working towards it. Biglia? He is training with us but he is not fully fit yet. We will evaluate his conditions in due time”.
