His Fiorentina team has only lost once in the past two months, chasing both Europa League and the Coppa Italia. However, Stefano Pioli's team needs to press the reset button heading into the viola's home match against Napoli.
"Last year we were able to do everything and they were able to do very little," said Pioli, remembering the 3-0 victory that dented scudetto hopes for Sarri's Napoli. "We find ourselves in front of a very different squad. Ancelotti changes a lot and has built an unpredictable Napoli. We need to try and beat a great team at the Franchi. It's through these matches that we play for our goal, meaning 60 points in the league."
On the formation: "A heavy trident? I'm thinking about it. Simeone played a great match last year. Chiesa is living a moment of great maturity, while we expect more from Pjaca. He knows it, too, and now he feels well physically. I hope to bring Vitor Hugo at least to the bench, tomorrow we'll know everything."
Pioli also spoke on the memory of Emiliano Sala. "We know what it means to encounter certain tragedies. We are united with our condolences. Veretout, in particular, is very shaken because he had played with Sala."
