Milan, Gattuso: "I'm to blame for the attacking problems, we aren't aggressive enough with possession"

Milan took an early lead in their match against Torino but were unable to keep a clean sheet, at the end, the final score was 1-1. The rossoneri remain in a fight for the Europa League, while the Champions League dream continues to fade. After the match, their coach Gennaro Gattuso commented to Sky Sport: "Were we tired? Only in the last 20 minutes, in my opinion. Before that, Torino did not have much possession. We must close matches, we must improve our positioning on set pieces. There are errors that are part of the game, we dropped two points but Torino didn't steal from us. We are not scoring much but I felt that today with two strikers we gave up too much space to the opposition and we didn't cover the field well. What is important is to develop play to be able to break down your opponent but at times we aren't doing that. I've covered a lot since I've been here, but I'm to blame for not keeping my players in condition to aggressively go for goal."
