Despite being close to leaving Valencia, Rodrigo Moreno Machado is still training with the "Murcielagos" as he awaits news about his transfer to Atletico Madrid. The move of the Spaniard is tied - due to liquidity - to the deal that the Colchoneros are trying to complete with Milan for the sale of Angel Correa.
Diego Simeone's club have in fact already virtually reached an agreement with Valencia for Rodrigo, but they inted to fund his acquisition with the proceeds of the sale of the Argentinian, a target for Milan's directors Maldini and Boban. Atletico's number ten would be interested to a move in Serie A but the negotiations between the parties have not yielded a compromise yet.
For this reason, Rodrigo has taken part in Valencia's training session as did Correa with Atleti, while Milan are waiting to see if they will complete the deal for the striker they are looking for on the market.
