After a two hour meeting at Casa Milan, the board of directors approved the budget for Milan's next fiscal year. The green light was given to increase the capital by €60 million, in addition to another €60 million in case of specific needs- the budget for last season was closed with a loss of €71.29 million later ratified to €74.90. One of the themes discussed was giving Montella a competitive squad, so the club will invest on the market to improve Milan's chances of getting back to the top of the standings- that would cause for the budget to be in the negative next year as well, Milan will try to get out of the red later on.
