Despite his very young age, PSG and France striker Kylian Mbappé is already considered one of the standout candidates in the 30-men shortlist for the Ballon d'Or. The 20-year old, however, prefers to keep his feet on the ground as he revealed in an interview with France Football: "I am happy to be considered a big star, but I know that I am no God. I am proud to have such a status in my hometown, there's nothing better than giving joy to the people. However I stay humble and keep my feet on the ground, I'm just a 20-year old footballer who gives his all in every match".
PSG's young talent then discussed his possibilities to win the Ballon d'Or this year: "I won't win it, there are many fierce candidates other than me. In my opinion, Messi is the number one candidate. He is still the best", concluded Mbappé.
