After the international break, Inter are ready to continue their chase to current Serie A leaders Juventus. The Nerazzurri will travel to Turin to face the Bianconeri's cross-city rivals Torino, coached by the Inter's former manager Walter Mazzarri.
Coach Antonio Conte disussed the injury situation and touched also upon tomorrow's counterpart Walter Mazzarri: "Yesterday [Thursday] everyone returned from the international break. when you have the break it is hard to prepare matches. Today we need to do our best even if the weather is not ideal. Gagliardini, Asamoah and Sensi won't be available for the game. We need to grit our teeth, we have lots of players injured but this needs to motivate us even more. We'll try to do our best in Europe too, even though we know it won't be easy to go through to the next round."
"Mazzarri? We have an excellent relationship, we played against each other in England too. But on the pitch it is a different story, he will want to win and I will too. He is doing a great job at Torino and I respect him a lot because he is a great and hard-working coach", Conte said.
