Patrice Evra has been suspended by UEFA from playing their club competitions until June 30, 2018 for kicking a supporter after he was insulted before Vitoria Guimaraes-Marseille. Marseille has also terminated his contract by mutual consent: "Marseille and Evra have decided to end their collaboration. The contract is terminated with immediate effect."
