"If I were still playing I would give my okay for a return to the pitch without much concern" this is how Claudio Marchisio sees the current situation. The former Juventus expressed his opinion on Serie A potentially returning during an interview with Tuttosport:"But I just speak for myself, because I could understand if someone didn't feel safe returning to play. I know some players don't feel up for it, I have absolute respect for their feelings. I would personally play. There can't be no risks in a contact sport. We must structure it in a way where the risk is minimized, but if we wait for it to be zero risk, we will never start again"
Marchisio highlighted the importance of starting football again in Italy:"It's one of the biggest industries in the country, with significant revenues on top of it being an activity that entertains millions of people. Football isn't just elite millionaire players who are on the coves and are kings of social media"
