Manchester City attacker Gabriel Jesus is living a special moment in his career, as his team is competing for both a Premier and Champions League title. He has struggled to find playing time, however, and spoke with ESPN about his frustrations on the bench and his relationship with Guardiola.
"I want to play, I always want to play. Certainly this situation annoys me, I'm frustrated but with a positive mindset. It gives me the desire to train and work hard. If I enter the pitch late or in the second half, I'm still happy to be able to play and lend a hand. Against Palace, I helped the team a little and i'm truly happy about that.
This positive attitude shows that Jesus is willing to make himself available to both his teammates and manager, a great sign of humility from the player.
