Lyon is looking ahead to the important match against Juventus and Massimiliano Allegri. Among their players, one was very close to joining the Serie A this summer, but preferred to decline the offer from NapoliCorentin Tolisso revealed the intentions behind his choice in an interview with La Gazzetta dello Sport. He began talking about the difficult match against the bianconeri: "It's a complicated match. Juve has already been in the Champions League final, and they have been reinforced even more this summer. Who would I take away from the bianconeri? Higuain: after breaking the goal record with Napoli, he continues to score like before. He's a fox, the main danger. To beat the bianconeri we must raise the level of pressing, and be careful about our finishing technique and tactical management of the match. We have to win the duels and prepare a physical battle. The goal of Lyon in the Champions is to at least reach the knockout round. It's not easy, but we don't play in the Champions League to be content with playing in the Europa League. And we can't make any more mistakes. It's a true test, but we are confident in our abilities." Tolisso explained why he refused a transfer to Napoli this past summer: "Saying no wasn't easy. I refused the first offer outright. I hesitated at the second offer. There was 30 million in the balance, that could have made the club comfortable, but they let me decide. I didn't feel ready. I want to stay another year or two. It wasn't the right team. The environment at Napoli is unique. I stayed here to play in the Champions League in our magnificent stadium. It was a choice from the heart." On his dreams as a player: "I dream of Real Madrid, Barcellona, Arsenal, the Premier League, but every offer should be evaluated with attention. Role models? Above all, Sonny Anderson, but even Juninho. Today, Iniesta, Modric, and Fabregas inspire me. Verratti? Another top player, at just 24 years old. He demonstrates that every weekend. Pogba? For me, he's an outside center mid, like he was at Juve. Pogba is a champion. Balotelli? You often forget that he's only 26 years old. He has time to return to the top. At Nice, he found the ideal environment. He's like Higuain, he just needs one chance to score a goal." @GIANMARCalciO
