Following Fabio Cannavaro’s resignation, the Chinese federation are set to appoint Marcello Lippi as their national team coach. The World Cup champion previously coached the team back in 2016 and had been the federation’s technical director.
Lippi will sign a one year deal with an option tied to the results in the World Cup qualifying round, the official announcement will be made in the coming days.
