Lille are looking to Serie A in their search for centre-backs. The French side could lose their starting defender Gabriel Magalhaes - a target for Napoli - and are pondering replacing the 22-year-old Brazilian with Torino's Lyanco.
The 1997-born Granata centre-back is struggling to find a regulare spot in coach Longo's strating XI and, despite having signed a contract extension with the Italian side just a year ago, could leave the club at the end of the season. Lille have been monitoring his performances and have included his name in the shortlist of potential targets for next season.
On Saturday, Lille's scouts have watched Torino's game against Juventus in order to add more data to their report on Lyanco but at the moment no bid has been submitted to Torino yet.
