Lecce President Sticchi Damiani spoke with Sky Sport prior to his club's match against Atalanta (the only one to be played this afternoon), touching on Serie A's decision to postpone matches this weekend due to the coronavirus outbreak.
"We adhere to the mandates by the decision-makers. But there is risk that the league and championship will be distorted. It would be a shame if the matches postponed from this weekend were really to be played in May. The season will basically be finished. But the managers in Lega Calcio told me that that date is purely formal. Personally, I'd have postponed the whole day."
