Lazio nearing an agreement for the renewal of Correa's contract

Important steps are being taken by Lazio to renew Joaquín Correa's contract. The meeting between the Argentine, his agent (Alessandro Lucci), and the Biancocelesti's Sporting Director (Igli Tare) occurred this morning at the Formello training grounds. As it stands, it was extremely positive, they are near an extension and renewal of his contract. This comes after the club had refused offers from Milan and Tottenham that reached around €55 million. The smart addition in this renewal should be the inclusion of a rather high release clause, set at between €70 and €80 million.
