After missing out on a Champions League spot in the final minutes of the last match of the season, Lazio have been focused on improving their squad. Manager Simone Inzaghi discussed his team’s transfers during today’s press conference:”Badelj is a player of international stature, he’s coming to a good team and has enthusiasm. Then we’ll see what the pitch says. I had asked the club for Papu Gomez to replace Felipe Anderson, then we talked about it an acquired Correa, he’s a significant player. He can give us a lot, he has great tools both physically and technically”
Inzaghi was also asked about Milinkovic Savic:”We’ve heard a lot of rumors, him staying would be important since he’s one of those players that can change a match. I spoke to him, he wanted to join the retreat two days early, but I told him to stay on vacation, he was serene and he’s well in Rome. But on the transfer market anything can happen. I hope he stays with us”
