After a 2-1 victory over Sampdoria at the Stadio Luigi Ferraris - thanks to two first-half goals from Felipe Caicedo - Simone Inzaghi spoke to Sky Sports.
"Sampdoria went down to ten men and did not give up; if Romulo would have scored that shot that went off the post, we would have closed the match a lot earlier. Then by a mistake, it was reopened. After a great challenge like the one we had against Milan away in the Coppa Italia, we came here to play a game that keeps us in the running for the Champions League".

Yes, I have three attackers, but we only play with two up top; therefore it is challenging to decide who starts. I have thought about letting all three play together. I wanted to put Correa in the position of Luis Alberto in central midfield, but Danilo Cataldi and Milan Badelj deserve to play".
"We don't have to look at the standings, because this victory keeps us within the race for the Champions League. We have a complicated schedule ahead, but if we play in this spirit it will be a problem for the others."
