Juventus' upcoming match in the Champions League against Ferencvaros could see several surprises in coach Andrea Pirlo's starting lineup. As the fixture list condenses there will be rotation in the squad with two matches per week until Christmas. In his pre-match press conference Pirlo revealed the defensive formation. Cuadrado and Alex Sandro will start at fullback in Pirlo's back four, with Danilo and De Ligt in the middle, as Chiellini, Bonucci, and Demiral are all missing from the squad. In midfield the starting pair should be Arthur and Bentancur.
The main questions for Pirlo are the wide positions: in his press conference the coach praised Bernardeschi, who seems favored for a start along the left flank. On the right, McKennie could be moved into the position as Chiesa is not ready to start and Kulusevski appears set for a breather. In attack, CR7 and Dybala appear to be the chosen pair with Morata selected for the bench.
JUVENTUS (4-4-2) - Szczesny; Cuadrado, Danilo, De Ligt, Alex Sandro; McKennie, Arthur, Bentancur, Bernardeschi; Dybala, Ronaldo.
