Juventus coach Maurizio Sarri discussed the bianconeri's win over Verona, giving them a win after consecutive draws against Fiorentina and then Atletico in the Champions League. Ramsey and Ronaldo got onto the scoresheet for Juventus, but the match was hard-fought throughout. Here were Sarri's comments to Sky Sport:
"We might hve been tired, we had to see out a very draining match. With so many changes you lose balance and so that happened in a fragmented match. Of the 'new' players Dybala played a great match, Ramsey needs to continue to get adapted but it's expected when your central mid is marked by his man. We could have done more in the buildup. Our forwards needed to be more organized in their pressing, and we need to work on our spacing. But they were not an easy team to face.
I think the discussion is around mental energy, the players are used to playing in the Champions League, in the league you can play both early and late. It's important that we collected points, we were strong hanging on in a difficult match, we must improve in our attacks."
