Maurizio Sarri previewed Juventus' Champions League match against Lokomotiv Moscow, speaking to the press ahead of the fixture. The coach hinted at some possibilities for the starting lineup, without revealing too much. Sarri began by praising the opposition: "Look out for Lokomotiv, they don't have big names, but they are playing very well. Both in the league and in Champions League. They can cause us a lot of problems. They are highly aggressive, we need to be calm and face them with great respect. It will be a very hard match, truthfully.
Dybala or Higuain? I'd prefer to tell it to them first. They are both in form and that's very lucky for us. It's hard to make a wrong decision. We'll see who starts but I feel good in either case. Ramsey I don't think will start tomorrow. He doesn't have any muscle problems, the exams stated that definitively. But he felt a knock and it could be dangerous to play him. We're working on strengthening that muscle, so that he feels no pain or weakness in it. Danilo is healthy, he's recovered and has been back at training for a few days.
Ronaldo is an extraordinary player. He is capabale of leading the club to its goals. I think that when he scored his 700th goal, he was already thinking about scoring 800. He's amazing, he has a mentality that's contagious. Rabiot? Clearly when a player plays all the time it helps them. In big clubs this is difficult. But the positive aspect is that he went a month without playing and he improved when he did. So just in training he improved, and I am especially pleased at that. It's a blessing and curse he's not part of the national team, it allows him to work specifially on tactics and strength and I think it helped him.
Demiral reminds a bit of Chiellini with his competitiveness and intensity. He has grinta coming through his pores. Rugani is a little more like Bonucci. This is a conversation of traits and not of ability. In order to develop our defender corps we are lucky to have such continuity. In the future I hope we can change two players per match in the defensive line. And I hope this future isn't too far away."
