The transfer that brought Miralem Pjanic to Juventus disappointed many Roma fans. The former Lyon midfielder had arrived in Italy's capital in 2011, he talked about his decision to join the bianconeri in an interview to Repubblica:"It was the time to go. I always believed in the club's promises, when I renewed the contract they kept telling me that they would have built a team to win the Scudetto, but unfortenately in five years we won nothing. I'm 26, careers don't last forever and I couldn't wait. Juventus wanted me for years, a serious person would understand. Totti told me he was upset but he understood. I'll always love Roma but leaving was right thing to do. The only jersey I'll never wear is Lazio's, because I played for the good team in Rome"
