After renewing their contract for Daniele Rugani, Juventus is not yet satisfied as they’ve already started preparing for another move this week, or perhaps in the next few hours. The initial negotiations between Juve and Atalanta continue, as the Serie A champions continue to be interested in Mattia Caldara and Franck Kessìe. The competition for the young Ivorian star is strong, especially with Premier League clubs, and the price continues to increase. In Juve’s wish list also lies the name of twenty two year old Roberto Gagliardini. For the time being, the likeliest of options remains that of Mattia Caldara, but even here the competition isn’t lacking. Milan, Inter and Roma have already showed interest in Gagliardini and Caldara. Napoli on the other hand has only come forward for Caldara. Atalanta will then choose the buyer based on their offers which at this point seem inevitable. This is far from the only path for Juventus, as they’re looking abroad for other options. In January the “bianconeri” will try to close out for Alex Witsel, while also attentively following the Steven N’Zonzi situation with Sevilla. However this last operation is more likely to happen in June.
