Bonucci to Juventus, Caldara and Higuain to Milan. The negotiations started a few days ago as Leonardo really pushed for that deal and it could already be closed today. Only details are left to be defined between the players and their future clubs as Juventus, Milan and the players' agents will meet today in Milan to reach a total and definitive agreement. The agreement between Bianconeri and Rossoneri is on a defender swap, Bonucci for Caldara, and the transfer of Gonzalo Higuain on a paid loan with option to buy: €18 to 20m will be paid immediately while the option to buy will be about 36m next year.
The doubts of Higuain's brother seem to have disappeared: Gonzalo and Nicolas, his brother-agent, weren't convinced by the loan formula of the deal that could force the Argentine striker to get another move next summer if Milan wouldn't buy him out. The meeting with Leonardo has given the outcome Milan was expecting though, and the Higuain duo are now convinced the loan is only done to respect the Financial Fair-Play rules. Gonzalo is now certain he'll be part of Milan future.
